FEBRUARY ENTREPRENEURSHIP ISSUE FORUM
Join us 9 a.m. CST February 25 for the Entrepreneurship Issue Forum “From Incarceration to Entrepreneurship for Returning Citizens: Current Landscape and Policy Considerations.”
The Forum will present findings and evidence from research on returning citizens and entrepreneurship, including job creation and innovation, motivations for starting a business, implications for communities, as well as policy priorities and lessons from entrepreneurship support interventions.

EARLY – STAGE RESEARCHER PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SERIES
The next virtual Early-Stage Research Professional Development session will take place 1 p.m. CST February 26 with mentors Simon Parker (Ivey Business School) and Jeff McMullen (Indiana University).

This series is open to up to 18 early-stage researchers to connect with research mentors to discuss research approaches, professional development and the research career trajectory.

Program Officer – Translational Research

The Program Officer manages a portfolio of activities focused on connecting research with practice and ensuring research is relevant to, and actionable for, a wide range of practitioners, including entrepreneurs, entrepreneurship support organizations, policymakers, and program staff, as well as internal and external partners. This position includes identifying opportunities to support the development of translational research infrastructure, including research content generation, grantmaking, and partnership development. The position will develop and further translational research activities that lead to impact and illuminate successful outcomes to support entrepreneurs and the entrepreneurship strategic pillars: communities; policy; new entrepreneurial learning; and entrepreneurship support organizations.
