Wharton Climate and Commodities Virtual Conference

Virtual Conference sponsored by the Rodney L. White Center, the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania


The objective of this conference is to provide both an academic and practitioner perspective on climate and commodity issues facing asset markets and firms.  The conference will feature four academic papers, covering the economics of wind power, the role of climate risk on firm decision making, as well as oil price dynamics.  The conference will end with a one hour joint academic and practitioner panel which will include the participation of Wharton Professor Jeremy Siegel.  The panel will discuss inflation, commodity super-cycles, as well as ESG investing and its relationship with commodity price dynamics.  There will be time for Q&A allotted for both the paper presentations and the panel discussion.
