Assistant/Associate Clinical Finance Professor

Job Description & Qualification

The Department of Finance in the LeBow College of Business at Drexel University seeks qualified candidates for a nine-month, non-tenure track, full-time teaching faculty position. The contract will be renewed annually based on need, funding, and performance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary responsibility of the faculty member is teaching finance courses in the College’s undergraduate and graduate programs. The successful candidate will be an innovative and experienced educator. Drexel University operates on a quarterly academic calendar, and the typical teaching load will be three courses per quarter. In addition, the faculty member is expected to serve the Department, College, and University by participating on committees and engaging with students.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must hold an MBA or other graduate degree (Ph.D. desirable) in finance or a closely related discipline from an AACSB-accredited institution and have at least two years’ experience teaching finance courses. The position requires strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills, and an ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds. The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to work in the U.S. at the time the appointment is scheduled to begin and continue working legally for the proposed term of employment.
