Assistant Professor of Finance

Job Description & Qualification

The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to effective teaching, research and preparing students for success in a multicultural business environment. The duties of this full-time position are comprised of a balance of teaching, research, and service including: conducting high-quality financial research leading to publications in recognized journals, teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels including our new Master of Science in Quantitative Finance (MSQF) program. Typical teaching load for research active faculty is four-courses (2/2) per academic year. Strong preference for candidates who can teach multiple levels of corporate finance. Performing appropriate departmental and college service activities.
The position requires a Doctoral degree in Finance from a regionally accredited and AACSB accredited college or university. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start of employment. ABD candidates completing their degree prior to August 2021 are encouraged to apply. Experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
