Salary: £36,914 to £49,553 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Professor in Finance, Risk and Banking areas. You should have a PhD in a relevant discipline (or be close to completion). You will be expected to engage in high quality research and teaching in the relevant areas of those subject areas, contributing to programmes offered by the School at Undergraduate, Postgraduate, MBA and PhD levels.

Some tangible evidence of publications in top peer reviewed international journals, together with a pipeline of research papers strongly demonstrating potentials of publications in 4*/4 rated journals in any area of Finance and/or Risk and/or Banking are requirements.

You should have excellent communication skills, ability to supervise Undergraduate, Postgraduate, MBA and PhD students, the flexibility to collaborate with colleagues and the ability to work well in a team. You will also be required to make an appropriate contribution to administration.

This is a permanent, full-time (36.25 hours per week) post.
