The Accounting and Finance Subject of the University of Glasgow is seeking to appoint outstanding candidates as Senior Lecturer and Lecturer* in Finance. The posts are open on the Research & Teaching track and Learning, Teaching and Scholarship track. While we are looking for candidates in all areas of Finance, we are particularly interested in candidates who offer research and teaching or scholarship expertise in:

• Financial Technology (FinTech)
• Machine learning and artificial intelligence in a finance context.
• Data analytics using non quantitative and unstructured data in a finance context
• Societal implications of Finance

You will be expected to contribute to providing our students with an outstanding learning experience as well as making a significant international quality contribution to research or scholarship.

The post is open at Lecturer or Senior Lecturer levels on the Research and Teaching track and Lecturer or Senior Lecturer levels on the Learning, Teaching and Scholarship track we are open to applications indicating part-time working hours. The criteria used for placement of the successful candidate on the Lecturer (Grades 7 and 8) or Senior Lecturer (Grade 9) scales are those set out in the Job Specification documents.

For the Senior Lectureship position you will be expected to provide academic leadership in your field and to undertake substantive School, College and University administrative responsibilities, as appropriate and as required by the Head of Subject and Head of School.
