Job Description & Qualification

The Department of Finance and Economics seeks to fill one non-tenure-track faculty position in the field of Finance. Preference will be given to candidates who can start January 1, 2022, but candidates who cannot start until August 2022 are encouraged to apply.

The Assistant Clinical Professor of Finance (Job #502835) is a full-time (9-month), non-tenure-track faculty position which requires a Ph.D. in Finance. ABD applicants must be able to give strong assurance of completing the Ph.D. degree prior to starting the position. Applicants must demonstrate teaching experience at the undergraduate level, demonstrate past success or potential to engage in scholarship required to maintain teaching status, and possess effective written and oral communication skills. Preference will be given to those applicants with the ability to teach graduate level courses in the MBA program, experience teaching online courses, as well as those with professional credentials (CFA, CFP, CTP, Series 6, Series, 7, etc.).
